Brandon Martin

 

An Animal Science graduate from California Polytechnic State University San Luis Obispo, Brandon Martin’s precedents of interactive education continue to gain national recognition and awards.

 

Brandon, age 23, quotes “I have worked on several different presentations that educated the audience on the topics of: Alcohol, Drugs, Relationships, Self-harm, Sexual assault and many others.  We were able to really drive these topics home by using many different media formats, including video, skits and interactive activities.” Presentations and workshops cooperatively-lead by Brandon were aimed at introducing incoming students both in large format (800+ people) and small form (10 or fewer) to sensitive and vital material pertinent of student life.

 

Brandon also lead a committee focused on self-assessment and implementation of improvement tactics. Utilizing both written and computer based surveys; recommendations were formulated to aid in the progressive growth of the organization.

 

An underlying passion in ceasing opportune moments of development can be seen throughout Brandon’s work: “both professionally and personally I love to keep growing.”

Eric emphasizes that by reaching out beyond one’s “comfort zone,” thus expanding knowledge and potential, a benefit to all participants is observed. “What I do not only gives an individual the ability to be successful, but to inspire others to be successful as well.”

 

Eric has taken his experience to better the training of thousands of students in the San Luis Obispo area to gain networking, customer service, professionalism, and confidence to succeed in any aspect of their life.

 

Eric, age 23, graduated from Computer Engineering at California Polytechnic State San Luis Obispo.

Evan Ruhwedel

 

As a recent graduate from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, Evan Ruhwedel 23, received her degree in Graphic Communication, concentrating in Print and Imaging Management. As Sales Manager for the student-run University Graphic Systems she served campus and community clients in delivering quality products. 

 

In addition Evan’s involvement with awareness committees and resources, involving social and personal topics, has strengthened her abilities to train and coach others through all-encompassing workshops. Guiding teams and individuals to achieving collaborative success through leadership, communication, dedication, and effective problem-solving is one of Evan’s strong points.

 

“I thrive on positivity, inspiration, personal growth and the chance to encourage others to continually better themselves whether as an employer, co-worker, member of the community or friend.”

 

Evan’s professional strengths include facilitating discussions, public relations, public speaking and management responsibilities.

Hillary Caudle

 

At the age of 22, Hillary graduated from Cal Poly State University with a Bachelor's degree in Art & Design. She specializes in media development, marketing and communications across a variety of mediums.

 

Hillary has extensive experience working with the local San Luis Obispo community to organize events, as well as arranging special promotions to build the student-to-community relationship.

 

Hillary coordinated many local non-profit agencies to help arrange multiple days of community service for thousands of student volunteers.

 

The passion behind this woman lies within leadership development. “I’m happy to be part of a team that has had the opportunity to lead hundreds of people in presentations and workshops showcasing a range of topics from professionalism to customer service, effective communication skills, team building, and other activities to help promote confidence in one’s own abilities.”

Nick Ochoa

Motivated, charismatic, and fearless.

At the age of 21, Nick garnered the experience developing seven-hundred+ volunteering leaders for California Polytechnic State University San Luis Obispo. Experienced in networking, communication and collaboration, his skills showcase a relentless drive to motivate and empower teams and individuals.

 

Nick managed a group who worked on increasing funds raised by 333% in less than 12 months. (From approximately $6,000 to $20,000+)

 

Additionally Nick worked as a Coordinator for Event Planning with attendance numbers 5,000 strong. Nick is a matriculated student of Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo finishing his fourth year with the College of Architecture and Environmental Design.
